EYE EXAMINATIONS

Woman having her eyes tested

Eye examinations at Gill Opticians offer a thorough screening to ensure you have the best achievable vision, the best advice and general health of your eyes.

We use a range of diagnostic techniques to build up an accurate picture of the health of your eyes.

Conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, macular degeneration and cataracts can all be detected during an eye examination.

THROUGH EYE TESTS FOR ALL

An eye examination can include retinal photographs that provide high resolution images of the inside of the eye which allow our Optometrists Mr Gill and Mr Mahmood to inspect the eye even more closely and precisely record the features of the eye for future reference.

We offer free eye NHS eye tests to the over 60s, diabetic and glaucoma patients, the over 40s with close family relations with glaucoma, children and students under the age of 19 and people who claim certain benefits.
